French Toast


Ingredients

  • Sliced bread

  • Eggs

  • Milk

  • Vanilla

  • Cinnamon

  • Syrup

  • toppings


Directions


  • Mix ½ cup milk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and sprinkle of cinnamon in small dish

  • Soak 2 slices of bread in mixture (1 at a time), add to hot pan

  • Turn when browned.

  • Remove to plate, and top with your choice of toppings.


Variations

  • This can be made with almost any bread. Cinnamon bread, french bread or Texas toast is extra rich

  • Toppings can include peanut butter, butter, syrup, fresh fruit, powdered sugar, jam.

  • You can also crush some dry cereal, such as cornflakes, and press the bread into the cereal after soaking in milk, and then put in pan..
